Designed for the beginning user, this course introduces students to the basics of graphics and how they are used on the Internet. This class is offered online, however there is regular interactivity with teacher and student. The course allows students to get acquainted with all areas of computer graphics and produce eye-catching web graphics. Materials include a textbook, lecture and video tutorial CD, and demonstration software for both Windows (2000 and higher) and Macintosh. Students need access to a computer, CD-ROM drive and an Internet connection to complete this course. Instructor support is readily available via email or phone. |

CD-ROM containing 30-day trial version of Fireworks (Macintosh OS X and Windows XP) http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=fireworks Access to a computer with the following minimum system requirements: Macintosh with OS X; and CDROM or Windows 2000 or greater, and CD-ROM; access to the internet. You are to complete the assignments required for this course using the textbook, "Fireworks 8 Revealed” by Barbara M. Waxer. In working through the textbook you will be asked to create a number of files. These files will be submitted for evaluation. |
